Victoria School as above, and the third for the Peak School, and

their despatch to the Colony as early in 1914 as possible.

6.

The only other member of the Staff of the

Victoria School as at present constituted is one 5th. Grade Assistant Mistress. Like the Kowloon School, this school is rapidly

expanding, the average attendance being 30 in 1911; 47 in 1912; and 65 in 1913 (January to June). I feel therefore justified in recommending that its Staff be made in all respects equal to that of the Kowloon School, viz.:- that for the 5th. Grade Mistress

there should be substituted 3 Student Teachers.

The Staff of each of the 2 British Schools

will then be constituted as follows:-

7.

1 Headmaster.

2 Assistant Mistresses.

3 Student Teachers.

As these schools besides being elementary are

giving a secondary education including preparation for the Oxford Senior, the education of the older boys and girls being conducted quite separately, it does not appear that these establishments are needlessly large.

I have the honour to be,

Sir.

Your most obedient,

humble servant,

Governor,&c..
